The 160R will be available in four variants, with prices ranging from Rs 84,675 to Rs 92,675 (all prices ex-showroom, Delhi). There are a few styling updates and you can also get ABS as an optional extra.
There are new colour options and restyled graphics on offer. The bike is now available with an LED headlight and a redesigned housing for the all-digital console. The backlight is now blue instead of amber. The bike misses out on the gear position indicator seen on the X-Blade though.
Mechanically, there are no changes, it still gets the 162.7cc, air-cooled motor which makes 14.9hp and 14.5Nm. Power is channelled via a five-speed gearbox. You can also get ABS as an optional extra. The ABS on offer is a single-channel unit and Honda is selling two versions of the ABS-equipped motorcycle - the DLX model costs Rs 2,500 (since it comes with a discbrake) more than the STD model.
The base version features a drum brake at its rear and there’s a CBS variant on offer as well. The bike will hit dealerships by early April and bookings will start around the same time.
