Hyundai has been working on a small SUV for some time now, and it even showed the Carlino concept at Auto Expo 2016, which confirmed its intentions. The new car will be a global model and will be sold in both left- and right-hand-drive markets.
The car was spotted testing in countries around the world, including on Korean roads and in North America. The new SUV will feature Hyundai’s latest design language and, based on spy pictures, it’s probably safe to say that the model would look like a smaller version of the Creta SUV, especially when viewed from rear three-quarters.
Hyundai is looking at bringing the car here sometime in the second half of 2019 and it is also working on getting another (even-smaller) micro SUV ready, but this small car is still three or four years away from a market launch.
