The facelifted Lexus NX SUV was finally revealed at the Shanghai Motor show, with a host of cosmetic upgrades. The new styling may do wonders for the already popular car and Lexus is hoping for just that. There is a high possibility of the new version making its way to Indian shores soon.
The facelift includes a revised grille and new bumper at the front and bigger rear bumper with new tail-lights, and bigger chrome tailpipes. The interiors are appealing and the switches and controls come wrapped in a metallic finish. As far as tech is concerned, the interiors get a 10.3-inch infotainment screen, updated touchpad controller for added ease of use, bugger wireless charging pad and tweaked HVAC controls. Other upgrades include upped amperage on USB chargers, a larger wireless smartphone charger and an automatic tailgate that’s operated by waving your foot under the rear bumper.
The overall riding experience has been worked on, claims Nexus, and the new suspension tuning and the introduction of Adaptive Variable Suspension will make for a much richer ride. Engine power for Nexus's smallest SUV will remain the same as the outgoing model.
