The pair of bespoke models, created by the brand’s MSO (McLaren Special Operations) division, include a coupe and a Spider convertible, and have been designed for one customer.
As far as powertrain, chassis, suspension and all other mechanical bits are concerned, these Two Cars are identical - they differ in body styles
The MSO R cars are based on the 675LT and they feature a retuned version of the 675LT’s twin-turbo, 3.8-litre V8 motor. In these cars, it makes 688hp (an increase of 13hp over the 675LT).
The cars get a large rear spoiler, front dive planes and the MSO Visual Carbon-fibre Pack parts. The coupé is finished in Satin Black, while the Spiders is finished in Gloss Black. On the inside, both models’ dashboards are covered in black Alcantara, they also get red bucket seats complete with MSO R stitching and MSO R plaques on their upper sills.
