Mercedes-AMG will be launching its E43 4Matic in India by early next year. Unlike other models, which are assembled locally, the AMG E43 4Matic will be brought to India as a full import. Mercedes claims that the car can go from 0-100kph in 4.6 seconds.
The AMG E43 is definitely not the highlight of the E-class line-up, (for many that title will remain with the E63) but the E43 has plenty to offer - like its smooth performance and pleasing soundtrack. The sedan is also the only standard wheelbase version of the new E-class in our market, though the car will be launching in global markets way before the India launch.
The car is smooth yet fast, responding quickly to your commands. The interiors reflect this subtle stealth, while also being extremely comfortable. The cabin area is incredibly roomy, with a blue ribbon of LED light running through the dashboard. It also comes equipped with dual-zone automatic climate control, heated and ventilated seats and Nappa leather upholstery. The exterior comes styled with a chrome diamond block grille, glossy look and power sliding tilted glass roof. The car runs on 19-inch AMG wheels.
The E43 is expected to cost in the region of ₹85 lakh (or roughly ₹10 lakh more than the smaller C43).
