The CLA will be replaced by an all-new model that the company will unveil sometime next year. The car will share its platform with the upcoming A-class hatchback and the A-Class Sedan.
It will feature slimmer headlights and more angular tail-lights. It will be underpinned by the company’s New Generation Compact Cars (NGCC) structure. A Mercedes spokesman has said that the CLA will be sportier and will handle better to appeal to a younger audience as well.
On the inside, there will be a new touch-operated infotainment system and will feature the company’s sixth-generation Command system. The company will also add a digital instrument cluster to the cabin. Powertrains will be shared with the future A-class range, which will include turbocharged four-cylinder petrol and diesel engines.
It will also be offered with a hybrid powertrain in the future.
