The brand launched the all-New Q5 earlier this month and is now planning to introduce the new RS5 Coupe at the end of February this year. The car is built on an all-new platform and has grown larger. When fitted with the new optional carbon-fibre roof, the RS5 is about 60kg lighter than its predecessor. This car features new bumpers, a more prominent 'Single frame' grille, 'quattro blisters', 19-inch wheels, Matrix LED headlights and added air intakes.
There’s a new engine as well, the Audi uses a new, 2.9-litre, turbocharged V6 that also powers the Panamera. The engine puts out a whopping 450hp and 600Nm. All this power is channelled via an eight-speed automatic gearbox, which replaces the old seven-speed unit.
The company says this car can hit 100kph in just 3.9 seconds. Top speed is limited to 250kph but if you get the 'dynamic pack', you can extend that to 280kph. On the inside, you get sport seats, a flat-bottomed steering wheel, Alcantara trimmings, an RS-specific display for the virtual cockpit system and stainless-steel pedals. You can expect it to cost around ₹1.2 crore (ex-showroom).
