New Hyundai Verna: Variant details

The New Verna is priced from Rs 7.99 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) and dealerships have been accepting bookings since the start of August for a fee of Rs 25,000 across all Hyundai Dealerships.

The new Verna is built on the carmaker’s K2 platform which uses high-strength steel that has helped improve the car’s crashworthiness and rigidity.

There are two engines on offer for now – a 123hp, 1.6-litre petrol that makes 245Nm of torque and a 1.6-litre, 128hp diesel. Both motors are mated to a six-speed manual, with a six-speed automatic available as an option.
