The limited edition Royal Enfield Classic 500 Pegasus edition sold out in record time. The company intended to only sell 250 units of the bike in India. It took only 178 seconds for the bike to sell out via Royal Enfield’s official website. The company will only be making 1,000 units of the Classic 500 Pegasus globally.
The bike is inspired by the Royal Enfield Flying Flea used by British Paratroopers during World War II. Each unit costs Rs 2.40 lakh (on-road, Delhi), making it the most expensive production RE on sale in our country. Rudratej (Rudy) Singh President Royal Enfield said “The sale for Pegasus motorcycles has shown the tremendous aspiration to own brand Royal Enfield once again. Beyond all expectations, the sale of 250 limited edition Pegasus motorcycles was concluded online in a record time of only 178 seconds! I congratulate all the customers who are now proud owners of the Classic Pegasus limited edition motorcycle and thank them for their support and patronage.”
