The company has shown a teaser image of its first coupe-styled SUV, which it will most probably unveil at the 2018 Moscow motor show in August.
It will be closely linked to the Captur crossover sold in in emerging markets. The car will be built on the versatile M0 platform and could share parts to keep costs in check. Initially it will only be sold in left-hand drive form and markets like China could also get their own version of the SUV built on Renault’s CMF-B platform.
The SUV coupe will offer customers an upmarket alternative to the Captur and this car could even be sold under the Dacia brand as well. This car may not make it to India though.
