Triumph has just launched the RS version of its Street Triple model at ₹10.55 lakh (ex-showroom, India). The track-ready naked motorcycle is already sold out till February 2018. However, bookings for units in the second lot are being taken by the British bike maker.
The RS offers a number of high-performance upgrades when compared to the regular Street Triple. The engine in the RS makes 10hp more, taking the total to 123hp. The Torque figure has gone up by 4Nm taking the total to 77Nm. The suspension on the RS has also been upgraded; it rides on fully-adjustable Showa front forks and an Ohlins rear shock. The bike also uses the well-known Brembo M50 monoblocks. The RS also comes equipped with Pirelli’s Supercorsa tyres as standard.
The RS also features a high-resolution colour screen and three additional riding modes, taking the total to five. The motorcycle is aimed at buyers looking for a bike that is effective on the track as well as the street. The naked bike is available in two colours - Matt Silver Ice or Phantom Black metallic.
