The second-generation Ertiga MPV will be shown at the upcoming Indonesian motor show in Jakarta on April 19, 2018. The car will first go on sale in Indonesia and will come to India around August this year. The Indonesian MPV segment is quite competitive, in fact, Suzuki sells the current-gen Ertiga there in two versions at different price points.
The car will be sold in Indonesia with a new 1.5-litre petrol engine, which, according to local dealers, will replace the 1.4-litre petrol unit. For now, there’s no news on the diesel version.
The car was spotted testing and from its overall silhouette, it is clear that it is wider and a bit longer than the outgoing car. The tail-lamps extend further onto the tailgate and look like they’ve been inspired by the Ciaz. Expect Maruti to reveal more real soon.
