Dilip Chhabria’s DC design has unveiled its exclusive TCA sports car at the 2018 Auto Expo. TCA is an abbreviation for Titanium, Carbon and Aluminium, which are among the materials used to build this Sports Car.
The TCA is built on a heavily modified version of the DC’s older sportscar, the Avanti’s platform and is longer, wider and lower than the Avanti. The company also says that the TCA’s styling has been inspired after the Ferrari LaFerrari and Pagani Zonda, both Italian supercars.
Performance wise the TCA will get a 3.8-litre V6 developing 320hp while mated a six-speed automatic gearbox. The TCA’s light weight means that acceleration from 0-100kph takes a brisk 4.5 seconds.
The DC TCA has been priced at ₹39 lakh (ex showroom) and will have a limited production run of 299 units only of which 60 cars have already been allotted for.Customer deliveries will commence in October this year.
