The base and mid-spec variants of the Tata were spotted ahead of the car’s launch this month.
The company’s Vitara Brezza rival, the Nexon compact SUV, will be launched later this month. All spy images so far have only shown us the top-spec XZ+ trim for both petrol and diesel models. These images, however, show the base XE trim and what could be the XT trim.

The car will be sold, at launch, in at least four trims – XE, XM, XT and XZ+. You can choose between a 1.5-litre diesel or a 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine. Both engines are mated to a six-speed manual, with Tata likely to include an AMT gearbox later. The Nexon is expected to be priced between Rs 7-10 lakh.
