The Japanese carmaker has launched its facelifted Land Cruiser Prado in India. This updated version was first shown at the Frankfurt Motor show last year, and more recently at this year’s Auto Expo in India. The car costs Rs 92.6 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) and it now comes with a new hood, fenders, grille, projector headlamps and LED tail-lamps.
What you also get is a revised front and rear bumper design. On the inside, there’s a heavily updated dashboard, instruments, a new 8.0-inch infotainment screen with panoramic view monitor, and heated and ventilated front seats.
The car continues to be powered by the same 3.0-litre diesel engine, which makes 170hp and 410Nm. Power is sent via a five-speed automatic gearbox and there are three driving modes – comfort, normal and sport.
