The upcoming 2017 Pebble Beach Concourse d’Elegance in August will see the debut of BMW’s new Z4 concept roadster.
The car is currently in its final stage of construction. The concept will give us a peek into what the new, third-generation Z4, will look like. The new Z4 is scheduled to go on sale internationally in late 2018 as part of BMW’s ‘most comprehensive new model push’ yet.
Codenamed G29, the roadster is being jointly engineered by BMW and Toyota, which will sell the coupé version of this car as the Supra. Both have been spotted testing for several months. The Bavarian carmaker will retain the Z4 name for its future model, rather than using Z5 as previously suspected. The production version of this roadster will be shown to the world three months after the new 8-series is previewed by the 8-series concept in 2018.
