The company will officially unveil the production Go Cross on January 18, 2018 in Indonesia. A teaser was recently released online and the car will be called the ‘Cross’ and not the ‘Go Cross’.
The front of the car resembles the original concept. You can also see LED daytime running lights and projector headlamps on the teaser image. The Cross will share most of its parts with the Datsun Go+ sold in India. The cabin will also share bits with other Datsuns, and it will be a seven-seater, like the Go+. The dash may also feature a touchscreen infotainment system.
The Indonesian car will use a 1.2-litre, three-cylinder, petrol engine developing 68hp and 104Nm, mated to a five-speed manual, as standard. The company will also offer a CVT automatic. ABS is available on the Indonesian car as standard, along with EBD and brake-assist. The car will come with a manual AC, power windows with an auto up/down function, electrically adjustable wing mirrors (with manual folding), parking sensors and a rear wiper.
Datsun is expected to bring the model to India later this year.
