At the New York motor show, the company showed its refreshed Tucson, which will be coming to India by the end of this year. In the US, the car comes with features like autonomous emergency braking, lane-keep assist and driver attention warning technology.
You also get a 360-degree camera, high beam assist and adaptive cruise control. There’s an updated 8.0-inch infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Andriod Auto as well in the cabin.
The India spec car will continue to feature the same 155hp, 2.0-litre petrol engine and the 185hp, 2.0-litre diesel motor. You can pick between either a six-speed manual or a six-speed torque converter automatic gearbox. The 4WD version sold in India comes with Electronic Stability Control (ESC), Vehicle Stability Management (VSM), Hill Assist Control (HAC), Down Hill Brake Control (DBC) and brake assist.
