The Compass will launch in India on July 31, 2017. The company had already started local production of the SUV in June and it now has over 1,000 bookings. The SUV will come with two engines – a 2.0-litre 172hp 350Nm diesel and a 1.4-litre MultiAir turbo-petrol. Here's a look at what you'll get on each of the variants:

Prices are expected to be between Rs 18 lakh and Rs 25 lakh. The car will be pit against the Hyundai Tucson, the Ford Endeavour, the Toyota Fortuner and the recently launched Volkswagen Tiguan.
