The company issued a global recall of its Z900, in the Indian market as well. Dealerships were given a circular which describes the error, a faulty tie-rod bracket for the rear shock, which can lead to rear suspension failure.
The recall will affect Z900s sold in India and Kawasaki has shared a range of affected VIN numbers with dealerships. Some bikes within that range were corrected before the dispatch from the factory.
Check with your dealership if you own a Z900, the replacement should take around 50 minutes at all official Kawasaki service centres.
