The new teaser video revealed by Royal Enfield gives us a little information on the upcoming motorcycles. The video gives us a teaser of how the parallel-twin engine will sound and also tells us that there will be two models using this new engine. The company is all set to unveil these two bikes at the EICMA motorcycle show in Milan, Italy in a few days.
Spy pictures and rumours have told us a lot about the upcoming bikes. Both motorcycles feature differences similar to their smaller siblings, with the most obvious ones being the fuel tank and the seat. The café racer version of the upcoming bike will have a rectangular tank and a single seat. The standard version has styling similar to company’s Classic model and has a more rounded tank, though with knee recesses and a flat seat similar to the one on the Continental GT.
Mechanically, both bikes are expected to be similar. From the spy pictures we can tell that they appear to be powered by the same air-and-oil-cooled parallel-twin motor. Both motorcycles also look to be running the same brakes as well.
Rumours also suggest that Royal Enfield will bring back the Interceptor name for these new motorcycles.
