The company has said that it will show its Ford Focus rival, the Ceed hatchback at the Geneva motor show in March. The company will also unveil another hatch at the show but there are no details just yet.
The Ceed will be sold as a five-door hatchback, estate and shooting brake forms. The estate version will also be shown March. The shooting brake version will only arrive early next year and could be revealed later this year.
The company has only shown an image of the Ceed hatch. Spy pictures of the next-generation Ceed show that the production version will be more mellow in terms of design compared to the radical sketch. There’s a new dashboard design with a centrally mounted infotainment screen.
The new engines will include a 1.0-litre turbocharged three-cylinder engine from the Rio and Picanto.
