Official pictures of the upcoming GT four-door model being tested (in camouflage) are now up. The car will be fully revealed at the Geneva motor show in March. This means that the 'standard' GT four-door will also be followed by a more focused model.
AMG's decision to start working on a more powerful GT four-door are part of its new product plan to launch variants sooner. The AMG GT four-door models will feature EQ Power-branded petrol-electric hybrid drivelines as well.
Sales will commence in September 2018. This car will be powered by a 612hp twin-turbocharged 4.0-litre petrol V8, nine-speed automatic gearbox. It will also get a fully variable four-wheel drive system.
