Available only in the top RxT(O) trim, the Climber has the same 68hp, 1.0-litre, three-cylinder petrol engine as the standard Kwid, and is paired to either a five-speed manual or an AMT gearbox. What set the Climber apart from the standard car are the mildly revised front bumper, the large plastic bits around the fog lamp housing and a faux matte-silver skid plate with orange inserts.

The Climber also comes with orange wing mirrors along with orange turn indicators. The biggest change to the car, however, is the addition of alloy wheels – a first on the Kwid. The rear bumper has been tweaked as well. The car is also available in an electric-blue exterior paint shade.

On the inside, the orange accents are prevalent too just like they are on the exterior. The centre console and side air-con vents feature orange surrounds, while the seats’ revised upholstery has orange inserts and stitching. The ‘Climber’ branding is on the front seat headrests and lower spoke of the steering wheel.

The new car costs about ₹25,000 more than its standard sibling in both manual and AMT guises. The Climber is currently available at an introductory price of ₹4.30 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) for the manual and ₹4.60 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) for the AMT model.
