The latest generation of the Skoda Superb is by far the most successful Superb in the Indian market. Thus, the company launched the Corporate version of Superb earlier this month which is cheaper than the base trim. The design of the Superb is classy and elegant. The company will be launching a sportier version of Superb called the Superb SportLine.
The SportLine will get blacked out chrome grille along with smoked headlights on the front. The alloys will be two-tone with some black treatment to it. There will be a black pinstripe on the side skirts of the vehicle. The bumper mounted air intake and black colour ORVMs will give the vehicle a sportier look. The SportLine is expected to ride on larger wheels than the standard model. The suspension is also expected to be different for sportier handling and may sit a bit closer to the ground.
The interior is expected to be full black. The seats will be trimmed in quilted Alcantara along with some red accents. The SportLine is expected to be powered by the same 1.8-litre turbo petrol or 2.0-litre turbo diesel as the standard Superb but may be in a different state of tune. Both DSG and manual gearbox options are expected.
Hill Hold Control (HHC), Anti Slip Regulation (ASR), Electronic Differential Lock (EDS), Traction Control System (TCS) and Electronic Stability Control (ESC) will be offered as the standard Superb variant.
