While the current Gixxer is a joyfully fun-to-ride motorcycle, its competition has begun to move on. Next year, the Gixxer completes half a decade in the Indian market and it is time for the bike to be updated.
The company has confirmed that the bike will receive a major overhaul and will be launched next year. It will get significant cosmetic updates and the bike should look sharper and sportier than the existing Gixxer. You can expect an LED headlamp, a more comprehensive all-digital display, the Suzuki Easy Start System and possibly even split-seats.
The Japanese brand will focus on improving this bike’ stiff ride quality without compromising on its brilliant riding dynamics. On the engine front, the updates wouldn’t be too significant, but you can expect a marginal bump up in power and refinement. You can expect the new bike to be slightly more expensive than the current Gixxer on sale.
