The special edition Vento features cosmetic changes, but is mechanically the same as the standard car.
The Vento India line-up will have a new entry - the Allstar. The car will be launched at this month’s Volksfest. There are a few cosmetic changes on the inside and out. The Allstar trim sits below the top-spec Highline Plus variant and above the Highline trim.
The Allstar gets all the features of the mid-spec Comfortline trim and, additionally, comes with Linas alloy wheels, aluminium pedals, black and grey interiors, Pentastripe Anthrazit fabric seats, a leather wrapped handbrake and ‘Allstar’ badging on the scuff plate and B-pillar. A new Blue Silk finish (similar to the Polo Allstar) is also on offer.
The Allstar variant may not get the Highline Plus’ all-LED headlamps with daytime running lamps and it may miss out on the reverse camera as well.
This new trim will be available with the 1.6-litre petrol and 1.5-litre diesel engines. However, it isn’t available with the 105hp, 1.2-litre TSI motor.
