The New Verna is priced at a competitive Rs 7.99 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), however these are introductory and will last for the first 20,000 bookings only on each variant.
The carmaker has stated that it has received 45,000 enquiries after pre-bookings commenced on August 1 and it’s looking at converting at least 20 percent of those inquiries into sales. Hyundai intends to sell 10,000-12,000 units by Diwali this year.
The carmaker expects to dispatch 4,000-5,000 units a month and intends to have sold 20,000 units by the end of this year. Around 60 percent of pre-bookings have been for the 128hp 1.6-litre diesel, while 40 percent are for the 123hp 1.6-litre petrol. The six-speed automatic is finding more favour over the manual transmission model.
You can buy the Verna in a total of four variants, with two engine and two transmission options.
