The company has introduced facelifted versions of its CLA 45 4 Matic Coupe and GLA 45 4 Matic SUV without any changes to their price-tags. The CLA costs ₹75.20 lakh, while the GLA is priced at ₹77.85 lakh (ex-showroom, India). However, the Aero Edition models of the CLA 45 and GLA 45 cost ₹77.69 lakh and ₹80.67 lakh.
The range-topping GLA and CLA use the same 2.0-litre, four-cylinder, turbo-petrol engine. The motor puts out 381hp and 475Nm and is mated to a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. Power is sent to all four wheels via Mercedes’ 4Matic system.
The new CLA features revised front and rear aprons, new front and rear diffusers, LED headlamps and a tweaked lip spoiler. The GLA 45 also gets the same changes, but also features a boot-mounted spoiler now. Both cars are fitted with new 18-inch 10-spoke alloy wheels.
Both Aero Edition versions get a black finish and feature decals on the doors. There’s also a sporty yellow strip that goes along the front and rear bumpers, the sides, on the outside rear view mirrors and the blacked-out alloy wheels. You can see similar treatment on the Yellow Night edition that is launching in India for the first time. There’s a new 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a new instrument cluster and a 360-degree camera. On the inside, there are yellow elements along with special-edition badges for the Aero Edition models.
