The WRX STI S208 Special Edition is limited to 450 units for the Japanese market only. The new model’s 2.0-litre flat-four engine makes 329hp in this version, that’s an increase of 28hp over the Standard Car.
The STI’s equipment now has a faster steering rack, adjustable Bilstein damping and active torque vectoring for the rear wheels as standard. The car is also fitted with new 19-inch alloy wheels, a carbon rear spoiler and a bespoke front splitter, along with two exterior colour options - World Rally Blue Pearl and Crystal White Pearl. You can also opt for a Cool Grey Khaki finish but only with the NBR Challenge Package, which is inspired by the Nürburgring and adds a carbon roof.
On the inside, there are STI Recaro sports seats and bespoke instrument screens. The WRX STI S208 Special Edition is on display at the Tokyo motor show.
